Luke 8:16 “No one lights a lamp and covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he sets it on a stand, so those who enter can see the light.”
Moving from shadows to LIFE!
Though seen are HIS cattle on seventeen hills, still countless in shadows remain.
As a symbol of sheep in HIS strength who walk boldly, most others then long for the same.
But there’s one other group, both brash and divisive, who haven’t yet knelt before GOD.
Like Saul on the road to Damascus they are, with destructive intentions — always.
But GOD in HIS riches of merciful Grace and for purposes — to us — unknown…
…sent HIS lamb to stand in for these most wayward children and save them from all that they’ve known!
And sometimes HE sends Ananias to tell them just whose they are and to bend low their hearts.
Yes, often HE sends someone willingly humble to carry HIS NAME which transforms them!
So when GOD calls on you to do likewise, then go! Share HIS Light till within HIM such souls surely stand.

Devotional: Luke 8:17 “For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.”
That includes GOD bringing all of HIS children out from the shadows!
HE obviously owns everything. The cattle on countless hills, every planet and all of creation.
And HE has bold servants who yet disguise themselves in the world’s ways.
HE powerfully came to Saul and told him that Change was coming to his life.
And rather than immediately transform him, GOD send another lamb, quiet Ananias, to bring GOD’s healing and to redirect Paul in CHRISTian service.
So sometimes “the bull in the china shop”, destructively moving…just needs someone to humbly share GOD’s all consuming love with them.
Isaiah 9:2 “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned!”
So let us go boldly then to the shadows, wherever HE sends us so that all of HIS own know WHOSE they are!
