Heart Light Reflections!
As night-lights guide scared children to the bedrooms of their parents…
so CHRIST’s glowing WORD enlightens us to be HIS Light’s reflection.
Then when a child of GOD despairs, in need of HIS directions…
so they know where next to turn…the LORD we point to — with Intention.
So shine as JESUS does, my soul: Deflect Self’s lesser light!
Then those needing guidance — CHRIST — shall see and rest in HIS protection!

Devotional: Daniel 12:3 “Then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever!”
We must reflect HIS light and not our own while giving people HIS WORD as their go-to night lights through Life.
For HIS WORD is rich and alive, protecting us as the perfect, two-edged sword that HE is!
Let us not seek HIS role nor claim ourselves as The LIGHT’s source…in any way.
John the Baptist made this very clear in John 3:27-28
27 “John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.”
28 You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the CHRIST,’ but, ‘I have been sent before HIM.”
So we can’t just receive CHRIST in our flesh but only with the sovereign insertion from Heaven of the nature of the new man which cannot sin.
Then John plainly tells all that he isn’t JESUS but HE is sent ahead as a reflection of the LIGHT WHO came and is coming again!
So shine only CHRIST, take all of Self’s lightbulbs out and replace them with HIS WORD and HIS glow!
