The Martyr’s Reward!
How often we face the trials of Life! Even so found around us is Favor.
A meal, some clothing, a roof overhead and there’s proof we’ve been blest by our SAVIOUR.
Even more than our flesh could ever deserve
while so many have lives of “less than”.
Those harmed, even jailed, for faith in the LORD;
who have little except…Persecution.
But Paul would attest to his martyr’s reward with
great Zeal as he showed through his life…
…that nothing compares to the face of our GOD!
So press on, fellow CHRISTian, press on!

And while we won’t be here for the tribulation, (it’s GOD’s promise and HE paid our price in full…no double jeopardy)
…we can see the wondrous reward of the martyrs who come through the tribulation!
Revelation 7:13 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?”
14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me,
“These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation.
They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the LAMB.
15 “Therefore they are before the throne of GOD, and serve HIM day and night in HIS temple;
and HE WHO sits on the throne will shelter them with HIS presence.
Make no mistake.
The tribulation is a wretched and horrifically violent time against the world for its sins.
Evil will respond by hunting down the saints, both Jew and Gentile.
But the silver lining, if you will, is found in verse 15.
Here we read that such martyred souls will be before the throne of GOD always, day and night…forever.
Holy, holy, holy!
What a glorious privilege for them! BEFORE the very throne of ALMIGHTY GOD always!
It’s hard to downplay their reward, amen?
But to go through the Tribulation isn’t going to be difficult but rather…horrendous.
Chased constantly for having faith in CHRIST, betrayed by false friends, beaten and eventually killed
…isn’t a “series of events” summary that people will quickly choose, amen?
So thanks be to GOD for placing HIS Holy SPIRIT in us.
We are therefore able to serve THROUGH all our trials till HE comes!
