We’re mathematicians who constantly measure the good with the bad to ensure we’re ahead.
HIS grace is well known which has paid for our failures. Both past and at present and those future still!
YET BENT on the numbers, our yardsticks keep watching while daily re-grading… insistently so!
But Struggle transforms us to Reverence increasing…thus knowing the depths from which we have been drawn!
So my voice here cries out, “Rest this day in HIS Justice! Take Joy in each promise HE’s made…and has kept!”
As HIServant still bent on sharing the Good News that HE’s already paid our sin debt…forever,

Comparisons and statistics fill endless records of Wrongs with just a text or two of Rights.
Consequently “I’m better than…” taglines incessantly pollute people’s thoughts, diaries and actions.
As such, we often CREATE the very struggle which plagues others.
How?
By mirroring those who thrive on being first and above us.
By aligning with those who enjoy irreverently responding to people simply trying their best.
So instead!
Gladly take the offense, turn both cheeks, and strive in the daily battles of Life…
…to wholly rest in the victory HE’s already won!
2 Thessalonians 3:16 “Now may the LORD of peace HIMSELF give you peace at all times in every way. The LORD be with you all.”
1 Kings 5:4 “But now the LORD my GOD has given me rest on every side, there is neither adversary nor evil occurrence.”
