Identifying As!
Should “sinnerhood” be a word just because sainthood is?
Does it make sense for equal yet opposite terms?
Well! We wouldn’t know Grace and HIS unending Mercy…if we hadn’t been fallen…by Adam’s sin stained.
But we can’t pass the buck since our own flesh fails also!
So we guiltily knee at the crossroads of Calvary!
But! HE calls us children of GOD, cleansed by CHRIST.
Our identity then, in HIS righteous blood shed.
Unstained! So lay claim to THE NAME WHO saves sinners!
As HIServant, called by HIS NAME, looking forward to life eternal with CHRIST,

Devotional: 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man.
And GOD is faithful; HE will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
But when you are tempted, HE will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.”
No believer in JESUS needs to claim being a sinner saved by Grace…just in order to establish that fact.
We are all sinners.
But the grace and greatness of GOD is this grandest truth.
We’re wholly cleansed by CHRIST WHO stands in our place!
Our identity IS in HIM…not our sins!
So we look up and reflect on HIM WHO has made us spotless…
…and not on those past stains we once identified…as!
Romans 6:6 “We know that our old self was crucified with HIM in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.”
