Jonah 4:4 “But the LORD replied, “Have you any right to be angry?”
The Ending of Jonah!
The ending of Jonah begins with a question…
A query which points us to GOD’s gracious love.
To an enemy worse than the most vile foe…
Who tortured their captives and skinned them with zeal!
Yes to these Jonah journeyed but not on some vessel.
Instead through a whale GOD’s hand had appointed!
Whose “GPS” quickly delivered HIServant..
so Jonah could testify boldly of HIM!
And we all know the story…they wholly confessed.
They turn from their ways which were wicked and vile!
But when the LORD’s messenger saw what transpired…
he angrily acted, dismayed at GOD’s grace!
To which HE replied with the question I spoke!
Should I not care for them who don’t know what’s right?
Thus I ask us as well now! Is our Zeal displayed highest…
our highest for GOD without question or doubt?
Let us diligently and daily ask that of ourselves with adjustments…WHILE resting in HIS love!
Amen and amen.
So examine yourself, oh my soul, looking deepest…
for HE has commanded! Love others…like ME!

HE cares for all HIS creation!
So who or what might we exclude from the reach of HIS compassion?
Most directly, do you feel you’re out of reach and can’t receive HIS Love?
That’s the whole point of Jonah!
GOD’s reach is eternal and unlimited so praise HIS NAME and reflect HIS love fully!
HE holds even me!
