Psalm 121: 7-8 “The LORD will keep you from all evil; HE will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”
HIS UnBroken!

She grimaced in pain as the blade cut her shoulder;
A blow only glancing yet drew it her blood.
A blister had blown beneath chain mail armor and reddened her suit like a crimson red flood.
But GOD! Though bruised fingers and dead weary arms…
Though torn was the skin on her legs, even scarred…
Still she rose in defiance and spit out the anguish…
Defying the demons which dared her “Stop trying!”
With the roar of a lion she then shouted boldest…
“Since GOD is my armor, your claws go unnoticed!”
Now heed this sure warning, “My Righteous KING comes
and then shall I be lifted high by HIS power!”
Looking up with Faith’s sight, there the unseen realm opened…
where twenty large angels on darkness exploded!
Swept instantly out were those foul demons shrieking
…till just light remained! Then she heard the LORD speaking!
“My Child, dearest child! ‘Tis your hour to find rest but not within Heaven at present. Not yet!
So remain in MY arms with most zealous emotion
till restored! Then continue, MY daughter, unbroken!
As HIServant renewed by THE WORD, empowered by HIS presence and readied this morning to still fight the good fight,

Devotional: Psalm 34:19-20 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. HE keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.”

In the evening, as we lay down, often exhausted and wearied from the pains of the day…
Thoughts of finality sometimes invade our minds.
“Just to be done with it all!” while the demonic echo our unguarded words, which add to our discomfort.
But just like the woman in this story, you rise with CHRIST and keep going till HE calls!
Oh Self!
Stand now and fight the darkness with GOD’s sword firmly in hand,
wearing daily HIS armor and zealously serving…always!
Amen and amen!
