The accidents GOD planned for us to survive
Have nothing to do with our preparation.
Oft times I believe HE is making a point…
which leads back to CHRIST’s revelations.
HIS WORD teaches plainly our strength comes from HIM.
What fatigue then to fabricate power that’s not ours!
Such Futility lingers
when such is repeated!
So bend both the heart and the knee with Thanksgiving
since HE’s spared us more than our fingers can count!

How often we forget that our fleshly perspective is so limited.
GOD esteems then those who know and promote leaning always upon HIM.
HE embraces those who are humble, contrite and who tremble at HIS WORD.
Which…dovetails closely with being grateful each day
…for all HE does that us which we can’t see.
So reject all of Pride’s self sufficiency claims;
Let us then be found always reliant on JESUS!
Spoken most of all to myself, cast off all your pride!
