Our Vessels within HIS!

Psalm 89:9 “YOU rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, YOU calm them!”

Our Vessels within HIS!

As HIS vessels in the Valley where Life’s floods so often flow,

There HE assigned our purpose to transport those broken souls.

Not the proud nor self sufficient but those leaning FROM themselves…

…clinging in Relation’s ship which is HIS WORD – above all else!

Thus GOD’s faithful – ever zealous shall board daily with each Dawn…

to rescue those who pose as islands, who are found — just hanging on.

So towards the Lost found sailing as clay vessels HE indwells,

Let us by HIS winds now go to them to steer their lives from Hell.

Yes! Let’s boldly speak CHRIST’s saving grace by preaching from the helm!

As HIServant bent on rescuing the masses still overboard while ever steering towards Heaven,

Devotional: Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;

when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”

The fact the HE never leaves nor forsakes us ALSO means HE’s always at the helm,

always leading us safely IF…IF we will choose to steer in HIS direction.

So the helm on a boat is the designated steering and control station,

and its exact location depends entirely on the size and type of the vessel.

Regardless! The rudder controls…are WHERE the helm is!

Point being then: Is your vessel’s rudder INSIDE the MASTER’s helm?

Is your hand upon the steering for your own clay vessel WHILE ALSO standing on the ROCK of Ages?

Think of all the soul lifeboats there are on the MASTER’s ship!

As such, this question is very important. So the follow up questions are:

“Do you know and how do you know?”

By being zealously being embedded within the WORD of GOD.

Required then isn’t a casual glance nor some 30 second reading.

Instead, we are told to daily STUDY. Cross reference. Fellowship with other believers.

Be the iron that sharpens someone else’s iron!

So begin each day before leaving the shoreline by ensuring your hands are in the hand of LORD GOD…

WHO both guides us AND… controls the water!

Amen and amen.
