1 Chronicles 16:11 “Seek the LORD and HIS strength; Seek HIS face continually.” (constantly, zealously, urgently, always!)
The Ever Needful “More!”

Fleshly greed is fed by one’s senses. Intent on Self’s wants, with all its pretenses.
Pretending to give greater care than what’s shown…
so its impact is less…than they know.
For their influences helped write your book
while claiming their marks changed you for good.
Oh the pride in themselves caused this pain which you’ve owned but no longer! To GOD be the glory!
Filter first then each thought in your heart.
Let no evil be spoken, from darkness – depart!
Leave all thoughts of revenge to the greedy
who fail…
who’ve rejected our KING WHO prevails!
So purge every word which is selfish
Long before your mind forms it – most jealous.
Then of you NONE shall say. “Their life brought me pain!”
Thus serve HIM well…give GOD all Glory!
As HIServant ever thankful to serve HIM for longer than my past’s greedy errors,

Devotional: Psalm 63:1 “YOU, GOD, are my GOD, earnestly I seek YOU; I thirst for YOU,
my whole being longs for YOU, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.”
Practical Ways to hunger after GOD:
- Dive deep into Scripture: Read, study and memorize the Word daily to let HIS truth shape your desires.
- Pray Continually: Bring your honest self—including doubts and fears—to GOD with zealous and persistent prayer.
- Remove Distractions: Clear out all the clutter, noise, and “much lesser” habits to create a deeper spiritual hunger.
- Live Humbly and Obey: Surrender your own agenda daily…and choose to follow HIS commandments with love.
Why is this needed…MORE?
Because, as Paul emphatically teaches us, the flesh is inherently wicked. Meaning: That’s all it can do. It will sin and it will fail.
The point is to daily practice NOT hiding, crouching, crawling nor in any way moving…in the flesh.
It’s a “taking thoughts captive” endless exercise if we’re honest.
The front line is where we’re to be at…moving with HIS SPIRIT!
So choose to feed your heart only with HIS WORD, oh my Soul! Then the needless “More!” cries of the flesh…will fade.
As such, your thoughts, words and actions, with zealous and daily practice…will mirror HIS more and more!
Amen and amen.
