Psalm 37:5: “Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in HIM; and HE shall bring it to pass.”
Discarding your Favorite Crutch!
Each day’s invitations
bring possible blessings.
But equal to bear come
some curses’ potential.
Thus what we “let in” goes
beyond sight and sound
since things yet unseen and
unheard seem unknown.
But GOD says “Awaken!”
such realms are not empty.
Great spiritual battles rage
now…all the more.
Hence at risk is the ostrich
more so due to blindness
when such is explained in
THE WORD to be known.
Consequently a great
many blindsided souls
will stumble in darkness
with a candlelight’s flicker.
Attacked, even wounded
yet calling for others who
do not see either…nor
hear GOD’s instructions.
Such are crutches of choice
which can’t do what HE can;
Faith’s increase then is lost
to soul’s trusting in man!
So be known for offcasting
such “lean to’s” for prayer;
Be recognized as one
dependent on CHRIST!
Then though disciplined focus demands great devotion…the outcome that’s brought has been sanctioned by CHRIST!

Devotional: Isaiah 26:4: “Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD HIMSELF, is The ROCK eternal!”
At the end of each day, every CHRISTian wants to know what GOD’s will is.
We want to know if we show faith that we’re going to get the answer we want.
But that’s not how HE designed Life’s “formula” for solving.
The trials and tribulations we go through in this life are for training.
This then shows CHRIST (and all observing us) the following.
“Do we always run to use man’s crutches…or is our faith and dependence solely in AND on HIM?”
Prayer is our first line of defense against problems spiritual, physical, financial, emotional and more. AND!
Daily and fervent prayer isn’t a walk in the park activity.
Instead it’s often a draining yet vastly rewarding exercise over time…
where we see GOD’s move over and over again.
HE does work all things together for our good. That’s HIS promise.
So our response back to HIM, oh my soul…must be trustworthy and sacrificial and I again…
speak most of all to my own self.
Speak now to whatever issue confronts you with the boldness HE instructs us to demonstrate!
Therefore! Speak firmly and faithfully to such obstacles each morning.
Do not shrink back listening to satan’s call to trust in man’s temporal crutches!
