Crushing Anger, Avoiding Wrath!
Rage is relentless in unstable souls.
Aggressive, attacking,
Unchecked, always lacking
the wisdom to just turn away.
With Maturity’s absence, they stumble…
with outbursts of Violence
which never have guidance!
So anger consumes their display.
Though Reality doesn’t persuade them,
GOD’s hand of correction
shall bring redirection
for those whom HE knows as HIS own.
But there’s woe for those hearts who reject HIM!
Left just to devices
they claim as their vices,
unchanged they’ll face HIS wrath – alone!

Devotional: Proverbs 22:24-25 “Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man,
25 lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.”
Ecclesiastes 7:9 “Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools.”
There’s CHRIST’s righteous anger in the temple directed to the Pharisees and money changers.
There’s CHRIST’s righteous anger against Sin and every lawless, wicked, and arrogant action.
But some equate that to their own lives as a pass…
…as something they can wield as they see fit while blaming others for their pride-filled actions.
I’ve heard such people say, “I don’t have a problem with my anger. Only you do!”
Or….”That’s just who I am…deal with it.” That’s wickedness. Period.
Even so, worry not about such souls. Commit them to prayer and move forward without reply!
For The WORD of GOD is clear!
Ephesians 4:26 “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger…”
Proverbs 16:32 “Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit more than he who takes a city.”
Proverbs 29:22 “A man of wrath stirs up strife, and one given to anger causes much transgression.”
Proverbs 29:11 “A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.”
Proverbs 15:18 “A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger quiets contention.”
There is no wrath like GOD’s, amen?
Avoid then and dismiss all who embrace anger…as their status quo!
