For Such a Time as This!

Matthew 24:42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know
on what day your LORD will come.”

For Such a Time as This!

Though Iron, Iron sharpens; in Water,
Iron rusts…while Temperature molds
both as well.
Yet grapes do not sharpen grapes,
apples nor oranges. Choose then just
the toughest of surfaces left…
to improve upon others of similar cut.

So too Believers are likewise made better,
together through storms and fair days.
By embracing the Bible with unified zeal,
no chapter or page stays
untouched nor unknown.
Fully found in HIS WORD then
is Scripture revealed!

So go boldly through Old and New
Testament signs; though others
— aside — took their gaze.
Now carefully weigh every prophecy
given and lead so the Body is
watching the skies.
Yes! Expectantly serve till CHRIST
comes… for the Living!

As HIServant beside you pressing on while looking up,

Devotional: To quote Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”

What is “the Day”? The Hour of CHRIST’s triumphant rapture of the Body.

Verse 24 speaks clearly to encouraging the Body not only to good works which HE set before each of us before Time…but SO MUCH MORE as we “see the Day approaching.” There appears to me, with the frequent gathering of fellow believers together, an implicit instruction to do good works in love as is our due service to CHRIST. AND!

To look with Expectancy regarding HIS return! How do we do this? We study all of the Bible, especially the books of Prophecy. Now countless before us have erred with date-setting and false hype to sell books, CD’s and ultimately…Fear.

But we know perfect love casts out all fear, yes? 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

We don’t throw out GOD’s prophecy just because man has messed it up.

So if there is fear and / or hesitation in studying the area of Prophecy, we must research our reasons as to why. Does it challenge our spiritual comfort zone? Is it knowledge that feels “beyond us”? Is it because so many have loudly proclaimed “hidden wisdom” and set dates for HIS return which failed miserably?

Regardless the option, this point is true. HE gave us Revelation, Daniel and Ezekiel as well as the whole Bible. All of the Bible is intended for our study and for preaching to edify, build up, and teach.

Let us recall the Star of Bethlehem which GOD told the Israelites to watch for. Stellarium.org is a free program I’ve spoken about before. You can look back through the centuries and see it! You can understand WHY the Star was so bright!

In like manner, the Revelation 12:1-2 sign DID appear last year. But who was watching? Who understood that it was coming and awaited the alignment of HIS stars? The wise men knew to watch for the Star of Bethlehem. That’s why they showed up. Daniel was likely the one who taught them to watch.

So my love for you again reminds to pay attention to, to diligently watch and study the whole word of GOD. HE has written only truths in it for us even though fools have twisted it for fear purposes and date-setting.

So let us eagerly embrace serving in love, studying HIS Holy WORD and educating the Body. Let us do so with encouragement to watch the skies as the wise men did and pay attention to the other signs in the world which are matching up with Scripture.

Not opinion. Not conjecture. But just the very WORD itself. Let us study together hopefully and expectantly so that we are as the wise virgins whose extra oil (study and knowledge) found them prepared to go to the marriage feast.
Matthew 25:13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour!”

So we have our instructions and we long for THEE, LORD! We are watching; serving THEE and others relentlessly with THY Love! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Come quickly!

Amen and amen!
