With HIS Wind in our Sails!

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

With HIS Wind in our Sails!

YOU control The River with an evening pace which has cleansed us eternal by THY righteousness.

Well knowing our paths through YOUR sovereign currents, so are we leaves blown down the streams of this Life.

Upon our arrival to “next” destinations, then are we reminded that YOUR zeal is endless!

Relentlessly blowing our souls with great purpose so, till Nineveh reached, we must move WITH YOUR flow!

With praise lifted, as such, this leaf forfeits it’s pride…overwhelmed that YOU drew me with Love — THROUGH this life!

As HIServant and leaf-blown follower beside you,

Whitney

Devotional: Philippians 2:13 AMP

“For it is [not your strength, but it is] GOD WHO is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for HIS good pleasure!”

As a follow up to this same point a few weeks earlier, the comparison is this.

In HIS love “like a hurricane” we are indwelt, compelled and propelled downstream. We are moved towards to the good works HE purposefully and sovereignly designed for our steps.

Unlike Jonah and his involuntary Nineveh trip, we must “go with THE Flow” which is in the ever living waters of HIS river.

We cannot stand aloof not “better than” Jonah for in our own thought we delay, dissuade, disagree with many a direction HE sends us in.

Yes, it is often the question of knowing CERTAINLY which direction is HE pointing us in versus our own will.

But with daily soaking in the currents of HIS presence, HE will guide and direct us… as promised. (Psalms 119:105)

So, even if you feel ripped out of the tree like Jonah, HE does have a perfect purpose for doing so.

The big difference is being willing and readied…the moment the Wind blows!

Amen and amen!
