Luke 21:28 “Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near!”
Preparing for HIS Wedding!
Countless HIS messengers preaching as purposed by CHRIST’s full indwelling, accompanied by Prayer.
Fervently seeking HIS face for direction each morning, so go we out into the world.
Still! With glances yet sideways in place of those forward, examined are others most often with Error.
By mistaking their steps as if absent of study, so grieve we the SPIRIT WHOSE presence they bear.
Yet “carefully weighed” and “objectively viewed” join with “humbly prayed”; seeking only HIS wisdom.
Found then are the gaps in which Christians cry out….while those with “the best of intentions” don’t listen.
Though have we our callings and purposed outpourings, though have we our gifts built within HIS designs,
one must go “off course” with expectancy searching. Empowered by love, there the Lost shall we find.
So! Although HIS compelling for each is unique, giving footprints to follow just meant for their steps…
still commanded are we to unite with the Body and learn what they hear as CHRIST joins our intents!
Therefore! Set down agendas,
routines and Self’s plans. Cast off every such “ear plug” promoting disunion!
Never meant to be separate from
those of like faith, rather stand we — connected — by threads of communion!
As HIServant intentionally learning by resting my pen daily,
Devotional: “Pressed down, shaken together…” Luke 6:38. When we GIVE others the benefit of our “wiring” and GOD-given gifts, Heaven’s Fabric (us!) is presented as neatly woven together.
When we stand alone with our gift, we are a loose thread, an apparent “extra” strand, even seemingly useless. So we share evenly with others both listening first and sharing second.
In addition, we are commanded to do all things with the thread of love. 1 Corinthians 16:14. We are even told to love our enemies as well and pray for them. Matthew 6:43-48. In this passage we also read that just communing with our own people (denomination, spiritual focus, etc) is no better than what pagans do.
1 Peter 4:8 “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” So Love is a most precious and uniting thread.
But! It isn’t the whole fabric. For we are Heavens fabric thread knit together WITH love….but not JUST love.
Don’t we all separate the kind of “love” of giving an enemy a cup of water versus giving our child a cup of water. Of course we do.
In Matthew 7:6 we’re told not to throw our pearls (gifts, blessings, love, etc) before swine. The verse warns of the consequences of doing so.
That’s being a wise a faithful steward. So there’s two other threads which Love is entwined with. There are many others not mentioned here yet the point is…Love is one thread that must be part of all we do.
This includes correction. Don’t we discipline others in life? Children, wayward teens and adults alike? The goal is to REDIRECT them. As Christians, our prayer is our correction leads them back to CHRIST.
So love is not a stand alone thread.
We carefully survey a matter. We
gently question the intent of others while giving them grace. One’s gift
of preaching the “hard virtues” of CHRIST’s justice and punishment for sin apart from HIM…cannot stand
Repentance, Love, Rebuke, Witnessing, sharing the Fruits of the SPIRIT even…are more than 1 thread. 1 row of thread doesn’t make fabric. So what’s the point?
We teach and preach in love all these things. And my belief is that instructing others in prophecy as Revelation 1 clearly tells us to do…is an example of extreme love to the newborn in CHRIST as well as the seasoned saint who has avoided or was never taught it.
It is the greatest example of being prepared. Without adhering and paying attention to Prophecy, we’re “winging it” and it shows a severe lack of preparation.
So to the new convert I encourage! Your new found faith will be realized very soon. Many have waited decades or even were called home long before HIS coming Hour. What a blessing to be alive and know HIM face to face in so short a span!
To the seasoned saint I encourage! Our faith over the years shall be meet with Joy. Our sure Reward is coming to take us home to the long-awaited Promised Land! Heaven! What bliss to see the fullness of our Faith rewarded without tasting death!
Revelation 19:7-9 “Let us rejoice and exult and give HIM the glory, for the marriage of the LAMB has come, and HIS Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the LAMB.”
“And he said to me, “These are the true words of GOD!” Yes! Our KING is coming so look up and Rejoice! AND again I say, REJOICE!
Amen and amen!
