In HIS Righteous Right Hand!

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your GOD. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with MY righteous right hand.”

In HIS Righteous Right Hand!

When numbers compiled don’t “add up”and when troubled unrest proves too much; when each odd is steadfastly arranged against us…still CHRIST remains in control.

When the battle seems lost with the war, when Life’s stone will not roll anymore; when Self’s hands which once helped do not give as before…STILL! GOD maintains all control!

For Flesh does not count like the FATHER, and HIS rest is not vaporous water. HE’s already won, oh beloved sons and daughters! HE WHO always…has been in control!

As HIServant reminded that I am not my own,

Devotional: Revelation 1:17 “Then HE placed HIS right hand on me and said: Do not be afraid. I AM the First and the Last.”

Oh, the joy of ever being in HIS righteous right hand at all times! HE uphold us, HE rules in power! We are “in between” the safety of HIS arms WHOSE “bookends” are indeed “First” and “Last”!

Psalm 94:19 “When anxiety was great within me, YOUR consolation brought joy to my soul.” And where does such blessed consolation come from? Myself? My friends? Where are we to “run to” first, foremost, forever? Ourselves or HIM and the storehouse of consolations within HIS WORD? Yea, to CHRIST and CHRIST alone! Hallelujah!

Psalms 27:1 “The LORD is my Light and my Salvation – whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?” We’ll see more answers to the two questions seen in the verses following as well but they’re rhetorical, are they not? SINCE HE is our Light, our Salvation and Stronghold, what is there to fear? All praise we give THEE, oh FATHER!

1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” HE is in control and always has been. Therefore, we love HIM because HE FIRST loved us. (1 John 4:19)

We know that HE paid all of our sin debt and that ALL the punishment for sin fell on CHRIST. As such, perfect love and rest is found in taking GOD at HIS WORD! We do not fear (anxiety) HIM, we fear (reverence) HIM in love!

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to GOD. And the peace of GOD, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS.”

Following up on the last two verses above, the Refuge and GUARD of our hearts and minds in again CHRIST! So rest ye in HIS right and righteous hands!

Amen and amen!
