Beholding Beulah Land!

2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all having been unveiled in face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the LORD, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as from the LORD, the SPIRIT!”

Beholding Beulah Land!

Heaven’s view opens

for sacrificed souls

whose wills have been harnessed

without any bridle.

Such picturesque scenes

they behold, ever gazing

on pages of Scripture

whilst serving unchained.

Yea, without one constraint

save the hand of The LORD; sometimes heavy upon them

thus laden with Purpose.

Then! No earthly bonds seen,

with Freedom they soar…

to enjoy sights of Glory

unbound by restraints!

Without hook nor a bit,

by the SAVIOUR so led;

they rejoice because Sight

has entwined with Faith’s hand.

As such, what a privilege

for those “self” has broken

ahead of HIS guidance!

How blest then the view!

As HIServant daily looking ahead to Glory’s unveiling through the beauty in HIS WORD,

Devotional: Yesterday I referenced this verse in describing the blocks HIS Light intermixed with translucent gems.

Revelation 21:11 “Having the glory of God: and her light [was] like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal…”

As I read HIS WORD this morning, I again thought of the grandeur of seeing HIM and Heaven’s expanse.

A question then kept rising to the service. Who is best prepared and most able to “see” such radiant scenes while yet in this, the land of the living?

The Broken who need no supernatural remolding, rebinding nor HIS constant, constraining reminders! Those who put to death the deeds which the Flesh demands daily to be exercised!

Those who are willingly and expediently self-restraining so as to get ahead and behold the soon and coming picturesque wonders of Heaven.

Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your FATHER which is in heaven.”

Herein is how we then bless others to also see Glory or Beulah Land as it has been formerly referenced.

I first thought the title was “The Self-Sacrificed Scene” meaning our brokenness and restraints in this life but the point of this scribbling is that we would think on things above and not what’s on this earth.

Colossians 3:2 “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Then in verse 4, “When Christ, WHO is your life, appears, then you also will appear with HIM in glory!”

“…WHO is your life” !! What a resounding reminder and encouragement to look up! Amen?

So with a sincere, retrospective view, if ever I have failed or disappointed you, please accept my deepest apology.

Wherever my thoughts, words or actions ever clouded your view of Heaven, I bear that responsibility. Please forgive me, I pray.

JESUS requires our all and as another poem HE gave me years ago, we must willingly surrender.

The picture is of a horse tied to GOD’s gate. He sees other horse running free and questions why he’s restrained by CHRIST there.

He tries to point out all the things he’s done for his MASTER. But JESUS shares that such efforts are lacking.

He demonstrates that these freed horses “have no bit nor bridle” because they they’re already broken by choice and not regularly asking to be broken by HIM through frequent disobedience.

So Heaven’s most spacious, most mesmerizingly gorgeous and unparalleled view must not be blocked or clouded by our own actions. It hinders others from looking on, seeing and expecting “things above”.

But I submit to you first hand, it hinders our own view much more so. Therefore, burn the ships and each path to your past so that such trips are never again taken and we stay ever in sight of Heaven’s shorelines!

1 Peter 1:3-4 “Praise be to the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST! In HIS great mercy HE has given us new birth (a new view!) into a living hope through the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you…”

Therefore! How we long for THEE so come, THOU long expected JESUS!

Amen and amen!
