Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the LORD…”
On HIS Waves of Restoration!
Found missing at sea as a mystery, without secured bindings or crew;
so the captain-less vessel for decades adrift
bore damage from weathering storms.
Through the harshest of elements cast,
through brutal heat and the winter’s iced rains
thus had it endured such extremes from the seasons…
yet never sands reaching, so warm.
Till the hour Life’s shoreline appeared,
where Light overflowed every bank;
where Hope on the dock stood with welcoming arms
with the waters surrounding — transformed!
Then that soul so long drifting saw CHRIST…
and restored was their vessel
at last!
From the inside, HIS grace changed their sorrows to laughter
and Hope had again been reborn!
Though their frame looked the same at first glance,
this servant and ship felt the LORD!
Then sent back to sea to those boats in great need
are we both — as HIS servants — reformed!
As HIServant sailing and serving HIS Good News of Redemption and Restoration,

Devotional: Psalm 51:10,12 “Create in me a clean heart, O GOD. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey YOU!”
Remember when you first heard about the LORD? When you first realized HIS touch and leading upon your life? What a joyous moment!
Experiencing HIS restoration then is another such wondrous span of Time and such that we long for when we feel adrift at sea.
Times when we pray Jeremiah 17:14 out loud and most zealous! “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for YOU are my praise!”
Others may see our vessel and assume our buttoned-up exterior means our ship is sailing smoothly. But we both know the error in such assumptions and the challenge in our own lives.
But GOD! BUT GOD!!! When we intentionally set aside time to be with HIM, to allow HIS will to — without our interruptions — transform us into the vessel’s HE designed us to become…then!
THEN we taste the sweetness of renewal and rebirth; the joy of fully being in HIS presence and feeling the Potter’s hand change our lives!
Then! Embrace Isaiah 6:8! “Then I heard the voice of the LORD, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Beloved, HE leads us beside HIS still waters (Psalms 23:2) while we are being drawn into port. When we patient, broken and willingly docked in HIS hands, HE does restore, renew and revive us!
So wait, I say, upon the LORD and HE will repair, lift you up and send you out once again! Oh to be so daily purposed in HIS sovereign currents! What joy!
Hallelujah! Amen and amen!
