Abandoning Yesterday’s Battles!
Are we not sinners restaining our face with the sins of the past which no flesh can erase?
Isn’t every day’s battle a constant reminder of being our own worst reflection?
This — hell’s hosts — keep on telling our senses! With hate, so they twist it — as if CHRIST — defenseless.
Yet The LORD’s finished work has redeemed us forever; with Love — absent of…Condemnation!
Whole sufficient, HIS blood cleansing purpose; Completed at Calvary! How gracious HIS service!
Thus the Victory is won though our battles — behold we! So praise HIM your LORD — for Redemption!
As HIServants redeemed, saved, and sealed with the saints unto that glorious and rapturous day,

Devotional: Ephesians 4:30 “Do not grieve the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, by WHOM you were sealed for the day of redemption!”
Sealed — how I love to proclaim it! Redeemed by HIS blood, and made pure!
But the world, the demons and our own flesh keep revisiting our pasts and portraying them as the present battles, don’t they? Don’t we?
Our reality IS that HE paid it all. The Truth is that HIS grace is sufficient for us as it was for Paul. What, rather WHO, our focus should be on is JESUS CHRIST as our Conquering KING!
Our rewards in Heaven will be different with each receiving according to how far we progressed in the work GOD had given to us individually.
NOT how far we got compared to another’s journey but compared to our own…just the day before.
You see, Yesterday’s battles could only be fought in…Yesterday. Though we may have faltered and wavered then, still! How can that restrain us from fully serving HIM today??
It depends then on what voice, (rather WHOSE) call we listen to? The screams of our past which demons love to echo loudly in our ears? No!
Rather it is HIS beckoning — the Voice of Truth — which shows us repeatedly that the ultimate battle for our souls is already won…for those of us in CHRIST who call on HIM as LORD!
No condemnation! Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS!”
So free others from shaming comments and thoughts just as CHRIST has freed you! Build up the Body of which you are part if indeed the LORD is your GOD!
Beloved! There is much encouragement and edification to be shared today.
Be a broken Berean who studies diligently, pours out HIS love willingly, and serves humbly knowing our GOD gives none greater respect for we have all fallen short of HIS grace.
Even if we sinned only once in life we know that we would still be guilty of all the law.
James 2:10 “Whoever keeps the whole law but stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.”
But GOD! Through CHRIST’s death, burial and resurrection, the Law has been satisfied! GOD’s wrath against our sins has been paid in full!
Luke 9:62 “And JESUS said to him, “No one having laid the hand upon the plow, and looking on the things behind, is fit for the kingdom of GOD.”
Remember Lot’s wife in Genesis 19:26 who looked back upon Sodom.
So! See clearly to set the captives free in your own life! Yes!
Release yourselves to serve HIM fully without looking back at their pasts…nor your own! Amen and amen!
