The Road LEAST Traveled!

Philippians 2:5 “Let this mind be in you which was also in CHRIST JESUS, 6 WHO, being in the form of GOD, did not consider it robbery to be equal with GOD, 7 but made HIMSELF of NO REPUTATION, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.”

The Road LEAST Traveled!

By the only wise GOD, our Redeeming CREATOR,

this life then precedes as HIS training — of us.

WHO, without any equal or peer to compare with,

draws all of HIS children to service — in love.

Yet the greatest of powers WHO chose our frail frameworks; whom HE formed from dust and assigned us by name; with such unique spellings as rare as each snowflake! So carry we CHRIST to all peoples —  acclaimed!

Yet HE made HIMself absent of all reputations;

though o’erflowing with Grace, still all pride HE forsook!

So the ONE WHO — unstained — sought not fanfare nor credit…is HE who “The Road traveled LEAST of all” — took!

As HIServant following HIM on the Way HE chose,

Whitney

Devotional: Philippians 2:8 “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

It’s not that the Way is just LESS traveled. It’s that ONLY CHRIST took that Way…on the way to the Cross. It’s that only CHRIST IS the Way.

And, to the point today, HE took no credit nor desired any fanfare.  HE deserved all credit and all honor while here on earth but HE rejected it all. HE humbled HIMself and told many a soul HE healed not to tell anyone of HIS works.

The GOD of all creation deserves and is due all of our praise. But HE chose servanthood as the path on which to lead us back to HIM.

So! Is it any wonder that our servanthood — in reflection of HIS — is the only Way we are to walk. Relentlessly…in HIS service!

Entwined! Engaged! Enraptured! So! Press on, my dearest friends…for HE is coming! And this time, just as we respond while we wait…this time, CHRIST’s presence shall compel us!

Then HE will be met by every cell of our soul shouting HIS praise — endlessly!

Amen and amen!
