Matthew 28:19a “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

There but for the grace of GOD go I! ‘Cross shadowed plain and valley deep, so in HIS steps go mine.
Through passage rough, to mountain high, thus on such paths ahead go I.
And “Why?” your question follows me as if sufficient shall Self’s answer be.
Yet the ONE WHO does compel this Pilgrims progress; yea the SAVIOUR’s voice which bids my soul confess…
From forward movement now as though one spurned; so to your face these steps are surely turned.
Till then ahead your progress leads with Truth…

There are times in life where we lead and many others as well…where we follow.
Spiritually, in showing our growth in grace and in the knowledge of our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, we cannot then follow only.
Faith’s increase requires overcoming challenges and we must personally walk in the victorious steps of CHRIST to experience the victory.
Another soul can’t take those steps for us in order for us to gain our own victory over life’s challenges.

So if I do not pause and have you pass me, leading ahead…then your faith will remain less than at the highs levels HE has set for us each.
A flock of birds heading south for the winter will change leaders often but! They all have a singular goal. The same landing place!
So it also is for us as HIS own, beloved children. Heaven’s shores!
As such, 2 Peter 3:18 summaries this for us as we close. “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST. To HIM be glory both now and for ever. Amen!”
And amen!
