Job 14:5 “Since his (man’s) days are determined (set), and the number of his months is with YOU, and YOU have appointed his limits that he cannot pass…”
Unwavering Truth!
No weapon formed against us can get past HIS armor;
No arrow nor sword shall pierce through to our souls!
By Love’s WORD defense,
have our fears thus been vanquished!
By GOD then, we shall overcome!
So although interruptions from Pain and Doubt press
all around like a hedge, neither stands before GOD!
So this storm will, at last, pass beyond Life’s constraining
when the Calm which is CHRIST
shall surround us with Heav’n!

Devotional: Hebrews 9:27-28 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so CHRIST was offered once to bear the sins of the many. To those who eagerly wait for HIM HE will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.”
I had thought of titling this poem and devotional as “Eagerly Awaiting!”…regarding CHRIST’s soon return. But the point of this isn’t so much the Rapture but GOD’s protection of us till the time for the end of our Life…which HE set. Look at Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
So GOD choose, knows and sets apart HIS own for the good works HE planned for each CHRISTian.
And we first read in Job 14:5 that “YOU have appointed his limits that he cannot pass…”.
If we believe HE is sovereign, always watching over us and knows each breath allotted to our vessels then we can rest peacefully in HIS hands in EVERY situation. Consider Peter looking at the waves of life…and sank.
Yet sadly many believers today are sinking into disbelief because the faulty claims of fallen man outweigh in their minds…the protection and promises (all UNBROKEN I must add) of our LORD GOD.
We are to be wise stewards of this temple, tent, and tabernacle that is flesh. Our soul was placed into it sovereignly, timely and perfectly by our FATHER GOD. Absolutely…this is truth.
But the steps which one takes in the path of being wise cannot be automatically mandated to all. GOD directs us in HIS WORD and each has a unique race to run for HIM.
So we must exercise common sense and the love of CHRIST — using HIS wisdom and not the faulty logic of man.
We all have, as CHRISTians an exact moment of passing from Death to Life eternal. Nothing will accidently take us out a millisecond before OR after GOD’s set and appointed time for that transition. Yes?
So love and respect others while placing all Faith in HE WHO set your life span before Time was begun…by HIS choice.
Think then on things above and on HIM WHO is always in control!
Serve then, oh my soul, in Faith and no Fear.
Speak then, oh my Self, with HIS Peace and Unwavering Truth rather than the wayward predictions of man.
