LEFT: To our Own devices
The direction is such to those
rightly corrected;
divided from Truth and
abandoned fo Self…
Whose face turned to straying
from HIS — disobeying
till wholly betraying
HIS words, written — red.
Yet how blatant this error when
“lost”someone finds you;
when all your intentions point
wayward — at best!
When wide stretches your path
with broad steps, sliding back…
till you cannot stand in
the midst of your storms.
So go RIGHT to HIS WORD
without selfish devices;
Decline your own way and with
CHRIST — reconnect!
Every second, each day;
with Zeal ever praying
till in HIM remaining
both Straight and Secured!

Devotional: Proverbs 4:26-27
“Watch the path of your feet
and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; Turn your foot from evil!”
Directionally speaking, isn’t the ultimate end to every “successful trip” to be exactly WHERE you intended to go?
Add to that being on time, without having lost or wasted time off course and…spiritually speaking, one has followed HIS footprints without fail.
But…that’s the ideal “road trip” both in this life physically — as well as spiritually.
What happens too often is found on the opposite end of the spectrum. We see this in Psalm 81:12 “So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, That they might walk in their own counsels.”
That sounds just like today. The disengaged, lukewarm, “all paths lead to “God” streets are filled with the Lost.
These roads are clogged with demonic influences high-jacking the unwary and the foolish till they only seek the paths — of least resistance.
No offense accepted or given, no truth spoken nor read and without GODLY street signs with fill every page of Scripture then, as we read in Matthew 7:14….
“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to Life, and few there be that find it.”
Why? Why do so few find it? Because they’re lost and those supposed to be leading boldly are off course themselves.
Still wrapped up in the world, entangled with a spiritually errant GPS (GOD-less Path Syndrome), more focused on their way and not YAHWEH!
So choose Life on the only “Straight and Narrow” road that GOD made for us!
Abandon your own devices and seek the small gate of CHRIST at every crossroad you come to and keep walking only in HIS footprints, oh my soul!
