When HIS Trumpet Sounds…
The LORD is our REDEEMER KING WHO needs no reappointing; anointing us for paths HE planned our hearts to surely take
Yet, at times, re-introductions are required which then remind us; since Distractions often cloud our sight till we forget our GOD!
With All’s Authority HE reigns! Why then does Thought drift from HIS face? Why then does Zeal found itself misplaced on those things which fade away?
By resetting Heart and Mind upon HIS kingdom and HIS visage…shall we then restore connection to the Vine WHO grants us life!
Then with Reverence will we worship once again with CHRIST — communing; consuming every word of GOD until HIS shofar calls us home!

“For you died, and your life is now hidden with CHRIST in GOD. When CHRIST, WHO is your life, appears, then you also will appear with HIM in glory!”
What a wonderful set of verses! I love the Berean Study Bible version here shown…over the NKJV. Many versions translate the beginning of this verse with a definitive statement.
Meaning “SINCE you have been raised with CHRIST…” as opposed to the NKJV’s and others rendering it to say, “IF you have been raised with CHRIST….”
You guessed it. Words matter!
*** Eternal security is a “SINCE” statement and not an “IF” question! ***
So we redirect our every sense and attention to HIS Kingdom above… even right NOW! Our blessings will be full with this order…seeking HIM zealously and earnestly far above all else!
Now the original language of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 doesn’t say what kind of trumpet it is, but in the New Testament we find in Hebrews 12:19 that the writer used the same word to describe the “trumpet of GOD” in Exodus 19:16. So many believe, as I do, that it will be a shofar!
Therefore! Await HIS shofar being blown aloud throughout all the world…to draw us Home! Look up!
