Preceding Confession, Proactively Loved!
Confession precedes Forgiveness
in the way which our brains comprehend.
Else, why would one grant such compassionate grace when
— remorseless — “the other” pretends?
So why should GOD grant such great pardon…while Sin’s repetition advances in Self?
When the very same words, bound by tears, are repeated —
yet broken once more as their promises fell!
“Yes! Why?” screams the world (as if CHRIST’s love) errant! But GOD! Hallelujah! HE saves!
What rescue HE gave before Time granted breath! Yes what glorious election and choice which HE made!
For good works HE penned us, inscriptions yet planned; those steps which HIS own…lead us to!
To — others — forgive BEFORE hearing Confession…and not withhold Grace though we think it — undue!
For would have been if HE waited to spare us, for we who were dead in trespasses and sin?
Could we somehow have wakened without HIS assistance? Since absent of Breath, what could we then — have chosen?
BUT GOD! In HIS riches of mercy AND Grace forgave us — yet unborn — drawn by HIS decree! So likewise forgive in this Present where Silence has taken the place where Confession should lead!

Devotional: Colossians 3:12-13 “Therefore, as the elect of GOD, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as CHRIST forgave you, so you also must do.”
Not much else can be added here, I would think. HE didn’t leave us with just our dead, old nature, did HE? RATHER!
HE interceded with Redemptive Life and the Breath of HIS SPIRIT unto Salvation! Hallelujah!
I John 4:19 “We love HIM because HE first loved us!”
