The beginning of Hope is far better
than its end when one’s goal —
long expected and strived for — unmet.
Therefore such disappointment
unveils itself greatly
when our flesh fails to pass
our Faith’s smallest of tests!
But GOD’s grace is far greater!
Our failures — surpassing —
with mercy applied by
CHRIST’s crimson forgiveness!
So Hope once again
like that instant HE called you —
when HIS light’s transforming was
more than you dreamt!
For CHRIST’s unbroken circle
joins Hope’s line with two names!
Thus “the start” and “the finish”
of Faith meet in HIM!
