Make me wise to YOUR ways; force such Wisdom upon me…lest in my own steps Self believes to be set.
Change my thoughts into YOURS; grant me only those visions…lest I remain blind and not transformed as yet.
For then, Sweetest SAVIOUR, YOUR sight shall transcend mine…till wholly restored just YOUR face I behold!

Devotional: Proverbs 3:7 “Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.”
How often the force called Pride causes problems! We must then ask the refection in the mirror.
Am I Impartial? Sincere? Gentle? Peaceable? Not so often and not so much, right? Speaking MOST of all to myself.
Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Oh the grandeur and greatness of being shed of such spotlights of flesh! To be rid of all else which does not reflect CHRIST!
But till then we press through the “glass darkly” until the clearest image of CHRIST graces us!
