Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.”
Haste without Hate!

As rubber bands stretching in Noon-Day’s extremes where Hate’s heat melts Love’s kindness, disfiguring hearts…
…this dream of mine surges; Still! Onward — extending — expectant through all…as HE purposed us be!
So though Life’s compassion seems waning — devolving; Though all this world’s stage hates with vengeance — our GOD…
…it is HE WHO owns Victory with Love — overcoming! Pour out then HIS oil with great gladness…and haste!
As HIServant drenched in the favor of HIS love,

Devotional: 1 John 2:11 “But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.”
Hatred of another person is something we’ve all experienced. Sometimes for something they’ve done, sometimes because they’re better at something than we are, sometimes simply because we don’t understand their actions which keep repeating.
But that’s not GOD’s definition for valid hatred.
Proverbs 8:13 “To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.”
So! Hatred of evil IS acceptable. Now…we each level that charge against others both rapidly and all too frequently.
Without understanding the “why?” for their actions…we quickly assume the roles of judge jury and executioner based on our personal perceptions and individual beliefs.
But regardless of what we think, the facts of GOD’s WORD are clear.
Luke 6:27-28 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”
Not the social justice solution the flesh wants, now is it?
Coupled with “turning the other cheek”, the world mocks CHRIST’s instructed, “loving response”. But GOD!
Our “following in HIS footsteps” is…IS a testament against them! When we are obedient, “replying” in the manner of JESUS, the enemy is without excuse. Those who persecute us are without excuse.
So by “hasting without hate”; by responding in love before thinking about retaliation, we are truly reflecting the LIGHT…WHO changes darkened hearts through us!
1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
Amen and amen!
