The Funneling Effect!
When the funnel of Life narrows downwards, it’s not as though Death can show us to its door.
Rather! Such is the world’s perception — unraveling whilst drawn towards Heaven we are by GOD’s cords!
There our souls shall securely, eternally — stand at the top of Life’s Funnel; with CHRIST! Yea, our LORD!

Devotional: 2 Timothy 1:10 “But GOD’s grace has now been revealed through the appearing of our SAVIOUR, CHRIST JESUS, WHO has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”
Our natural perception is to look at everything around us as a process headed down words to the bottom of the funnel of life.
In fact, I’ve often used this very phrase to describe how the end is drawing down.
But GOD! Death is not the end but surely the very beginning of life eternal with our CREATOR and KING!
“We want to reach the kingdom of GOD, but we don’t want to travel by way of death. And yet there stands Necessity saying: ‘This way, please.’ Do not hesitate, man, to go this way, when this is the way that GOD came to you.” (St. Augustine)
So it is by rigorous study and zealous pursuit of the Lord Jesus and through his word that we discover the very truth! There is no fear of death for us who are in CHRIST JESUS!
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.
For we believe that JESUS died and rose again, and so we believe that GOD will bring with JESUS those who have fallen asleep in HIM.”
So we need not wander as someone blind because GOD’s light has given us HIS heavenly vision! In fact, Helen Keller had a wonderfully unique way of saying it.
Quote: “Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there’s a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see.”
Soon, Beloved! We SHALL soon see HIM face to face — together.
