The Turning Over!

Matthew 18:16 “But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.”

The Turning Over!

Withdrawn from the corners of Darkness and spared from the Shadows of Sin;

so again and again we find Grace within HIM! The LORD GOD of Earth and of Heaven!

But none with a mindset of straying who through “absence of Faith” still transact…

…understand that their lack of devotion is bad! So their steps lead them farther — off track.

What then must be preached to these people? Or shall we just “dust off our shoes”?

LORD, move in this present! Yea, change us through testing…else churches will languish — unused!

Therefore we continue in service; still onward repeating ourselves…to those YOU’ve commissioned;

whose hearts wholly listen! In YOUR hands then leave we…all Else!

As HIServant still being transformed, transforming others and turning those bent on Darkness…to GOD,

Devotional: 1 Corinthians 5:4-8 “In the NAME  of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our LORD JESUS CHRIST,

5 deliver such a one to satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the LORD D JESUS CHRIST.

6 Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed CHRIST, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

In this hour, there are those who trouble the flock, who badger the Sheep, with false doctrines and personal opinion.

They’re wolves hiding within sheep’s wool that they stole to — “fit in”.

They circle the Aisles and walk through the pews…casually yet decidedly looking for someone to “convert” to their half-baked and lukewarm versions of truth.

No matter how sheep-like they may outwardly appear…they are as Matthew 7:15 warns us.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves!”

Matthew 18:15 “Moreover if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you have gained your brother.”

So this is the verse prior to verse 16 which we began with in this devotion.

But when repeated interventions occur and the same stalking, whether passive or aggressive or both…keeps happening unabated and unfazed, then sadly, purging must be addressed. The flock must be protected.

Let’s review 1 Corinthians 5:5 again. What does the WORD say?

 “…deliver such a one to satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

“The Turning Over” then is an unfortunate yet necessary step to protect HIS flock…as instructed in HIS WORD.

Pray then with fervency and expectation that such individuals change or else we must separate in alignment with GOD’s directions.

Caring for the sheep then, not as hirelings but good shepherds exampling CHRIST, let us be wise stewards in HIS service.

Amen and amen!
