Laid beside HIS Still Waters!

2 Corinthians 5:21

Rest in JESUS!

“HE made CHRIST WHO knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in HIM we would become the righteousness of GOD [that is, we would be made acceptable to HIM and placed in a right relationship with HIM by HIS gracious lovingkindness]!”

Laid beside HIS Still Waters!

The debts of self-righteousness cannot be added to Calvary’s cross…nor its deficits found as detracking from CHRIST. Thus HIS blood wholly paid for our sins.

As Scripture says plainly (here paraphrasing) “Do not increase words in the verses HE penned.” Then, in like manner, our words MUST NOT steal the credit, the honor and glory which is due HIM!

For who can take anything from GOD WHO owns all things?? None!

Neither can we add to HIS finished work as though riding on HIS coattails. Those robes of HIS righteousness…which HE gifts to us as our own!

So resting in CHRIST worries not about losing nor needing to gain anything else! HE is, HE lives!

All glory to HIM WHOSE perfect and proven love is forever endless!

As HIServant laying all credit at HIS feet and lifting all praise to The Only wise GOD our SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST,

Whitney

Devotional: Psalms 23:2 “HE makes me to lie down in green pastures; HE leads me beside the still waters!”

Oh, the complete love and the blood of JESUS!!

Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!”

When we sing joyfully that JESUS paid it all, we do so knowing that we cannot add to HIS finished work.

Also, we thankfully know we can’t lose our salvation because it’s only found in HIS NAME!

And! HE never abandons HIS sheep! Hallelujah!

Amen and amen!
