Psalm 19:11 “Moreover, by them Your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.”
Leaving NO one Behind!
Going to battle
WITHIN one’s own army
takes confident Faith
or…the heart of a fool.
For from it comes words
which aid self-infliction;
In vain debates found
till such souls stand alone.
Yet! Those bold warriors
equipped by The SAVIOUR,
march into their ranks
with HIS message of Love!
“Arise! Stand your ground
as men sent in HIS steps!
Steadfast, with intent;
CHRIST’s orders — believing…
…which leave none behind!
“Retreat” then for Rescue;
Yes, heed our KING’s call
till HIS Peace reigns — within!
As HIServant delivering HIS message of Rescue and Grace,
Devotional: Now there’s a joke that simply says, “There’s a fine line between fishing at the edge of a pond…and just looking like an idiot.” I’ll let that sink in! 🙂
Meaning: Marching forward with all Zeal while leaving fellow soldiers in the dust of disbelief… well! That’s counter to HIS call!
Are we not fishers of men? How then can we stand at the edge of Life’s pond with all zeal yet without HIS fishing line?
Won’t we look equally, if not more so…foolish?
Let’s use the analogy of a doctor who has his PHd in surgeon, opens up a patient, knows exactly what to do but!!
But they do nothing. They keep marching forward to the sermon, the next message…oblivious to “the lack of progress” they’re making!
Ezekiel 3:21 “However, if you have warned the righteous man that the righteous should not sin and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; and you have delivered yourself.”
Isn’t it sin (since we know better), that we know this hour marks CHRIST’s very soon return…yet we march over others who are Apathetic?
Isn’t it the opposite of successful, forward progress in battle when we leave others behind who had stood beside us in service, or at work, etc.?
So! Stand your ground against any “self apathy” and rally the troops to the Truth of HIS coming!
“HE’s almost here so run with me as we run towards HIM!”
Lift them and lift HIS NAME…up!
Amen and amen!
