John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another!”
The Warm and the Sweet!
“Bitter” cold is both accurate and descriptive as opposed to “bitter” heat.
“Blistering”, “fiery” and other such “adjectives” feel then as much better choices of words.
But “bitter” as it speaks of the stripes which HE bore for us, even it is sadly lacking! Truth be told, no words suffice!
So then temperatures are irrelevant for HIS sacrifice encompasses all others!
How bitter the taste then for those whose end — hell! Both fiery — unceasing with blistering heat!
Hence, these words must discourage our steps from thus walking! My adamant prayer shall continue as such!
Let Love not wax cold nor or our pride then birth blazes. Rather! Just what is sweet and GOD pleasing — display!

Devotional: 1 Corinthians 13:4 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
It’s increasingly harder to simply love someone when Offense is craved greater.
Though both enemies and those of the Body are included in that trend, still HIS commands remains.
And Pride is so often that challenging gateway which triggers the blistering effects of Offense!
In like manner, the bitterly frigid winds caused by the Unloving are equally subversive, counter- productive and outside of GOD’s will for us.
So another core verse reminds us of HIS lead by example.
Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves…”
So no Grudge nor Offense holding, no pursuit of Revenge as if a “dish best served cold”…but instead!
Value CHRIST above your self AND all those with breath still in their lungs!
Yes, daily display HIS warm love till extinguished is each layer of Ice within!
