Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.”
Don’t Touch that Dial!
Those knobs and each switch
which he’d thought controlled
Life…turned out later to move
nothing more than themselves.
Though spinning and flipping
and pushing such buttons…
no Peace held his heart nor
did rest fill his soul.
Then GOD intervened and
turned him to HIS WORD!
There this man learned that
CHRIST held each string in
this life!
No Chance nor Surprise
hid outside of HIS presence;
without variables random
or outcomes unknown!
So lean not on your own
understanding, Beloved!
This man stands as proof of
our LORD’s sovereign movements!
As such, unrelenting, serve
without adjustments…believing
in Faith; leaving all in HIS hands!
As HIServant serving without hesitation yet waiting on CHRIST,

Beloved, CHRIST alone is in control! You and I daily move many a knob or switch that we THINK matters most…but GOD!
HE moves according to HIS good pleasure, in line with HIS will for our lives, and always knowing what steps are best for us.
So I remind us of Moses’ words to the children of Israel when Pharaoh’s army drew near to destroy them…
Exodus 14:13 “And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which HE will accomplish for you today.”
“For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever!”
So leave the steering wheel and all the knobs, bells and switches in the nail scarred hands of our CREATOR GOD!
