Sharing Love First…with SIght!

1 John 4:19 “We love because HE first loved us!”

Sharing Love First…with SIght!

When you look in the eyes of
someone who’s silent
who can’t speak of their grief nor
why Pain fills their heart…
then there’s draining of Hope.
Both of theirs and your own…
for you cannot share Comfort’s embrace.

Thus our gaze in return feels both
hollow and empty;
their shallow reflection reminds
of our own.
So the loss is two-fold
giving grief to each soul
with their chasm of chaos…still growing.

When speechless encounters like
these fill your visions,
then stretch every heartstring to
care for the muted.
For such is HIS calling
as caretakers – zealous
for us to extend Heaven’s life-rope.

Listening then to the void and their actions…instead;
so one learns of the person who
mirrors their gaze.
Reflecting with words which
display HIS Compassion…
so shall we protect – one another.

So! Since eyes being “softened”
encourages – “same”;
let us love with our sight…before
words are exchanged.
And when one cannot speak,
may we “compensate” first
with an olive branch – welcoming all.

Given this, our displays should
be quickly extended;
without hesitation or Self’s
best intentions.
Then whether one vocal
or audibly silenced
our steps will lead others to praise HIM!

As HIServant lifting my hands and this voice in thanks to the LORD,

Whitney

Devotional: Romans 5:8

“But GOD shows HIS love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Ephesians 3:17-19 “So that CHRIST may dwell in your hearts through faith — that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ…

that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of GOD!”

Without any fear of Contradiction, we know that before Time, CHRIST first
loved us.

As such, knowing HIS own since HE chose and then drew us as HIS sheep, what matter of people should we be?

Meaning: Shouldn’t we show Love first and not Apathy? Shouldn’t we accept HIS examples as the only ones to follow?

For instance, It’s often called “Caring for the other person’s heart.” When we see hurting souls, our initial response should be rapid.

“How can I help?” And although there’s countless different ways to assist, I want to “look at” just one.

Sight! When we another person who is in pain; whether mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually or all the above….

then let us be quickest to first look upon that person with the compassion gaze shown by our SAVIOUR!

WHO, while we were sinners and unworthy of both mercy and Grace, CHRIST looked upon our souls and lovingly chose to redeem us.

When someone is so sick that they can’t speak or share their grief, look instantly with softened eyes and following through with a most giving heart!

Look then with HIS Love and your actions assisting shall follow!

Amen and amen!
