Insults, Injustice
Offense and Contempt
battle Fairness and Goodness
with GOD’s Compliments.
But! HIS Love conquers;
GOD’s got the last word
thus each onslaught of Evil
receives its own curse.
So turning both cheeks
though oft gaining Pain…
finds our souls looking
upwards because all else vain.
Proactively then
give way to HIS ways!
Yea, be still in thy steps
and revived in your faith!

Devotional: Matthew 5:39 “But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.”
Proverbs 3:7 “Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away
from evil.”
Romans 12:9 “Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.”
Faith never grows when we respond instantly to retaliate instead of stepping aside / turning the other cheek.
Responding to Injustice and insults with instant Offense follows NO verse
in Scripture.
James 1:19-20 DOES say… “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry…”
And! Proverbs 29:11 “Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.”
So! Psalms 34:14 “Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it!”
So let Faith arise! Yes, let Faith revive!
