Romans 12:11 “Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the LORD…”
Horseshoes and Stirrups!

Again as a steed in HIS stable — remembering to when he was bound to GOD’s Gate in Youth’s days;
…recalling the righteous restrictions once binding. With bent neck andknee, Self proceeded to pray.
No shoes had I needed when held by YOUR training; just patience which took me so long to apply.
But finally, one day, YOU released me as promised to freely roam preaching this NAME: JESUS CHRIST!
YOU’ve given me shoes and YOUR stirrups with purpose…thus driven am I to these masses outstretched.
So lead me to ground higher than Present’s hoof prints where, galloping home, I shall run — saddle-less!
As HIServant still running and preaching YOUR NAME,
Whitney
Devotional: Deuteronomy 13:4 “You shall walk (run) after the LORD your GOD and fear HIM, and keep HIS commandments and obey HIS voice; you shall serve HIM and hold fast to HIM!”
Our feet are indeed shod with the shoes of Peace and the Gospel message!
So twice before I’ve written about The Master’s Stable and this time is a reflection of when Life seemed ONLY about Training.
But looking back, I can see HIS footprints leading me through the stormy seas.
And! Although challenges still remain, I am HIServant scarred by past error yet thankfully now saddle-less more often.
Galatians 5:13 “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”
How true then for us, represented here as horses in and outside of HIS training stable!
So we are to remember HIS call to run free…just for HIM — serving others — in love.
Amen and amen!
