Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us!”
The Value of our Scars

Every souls’ advanced thoughts have
been filled with reflections
of pasts where their wisdom
increased after Loss.
Meaning: Gains greatly valued came
once trials were finished…
and never met sooner nor held
without cost.
What then for the CHRISTian whose steps hope for Faith’s greater heights?
For mountain top meetings —
communing with GOD?
Again does this pattern bear truth
found on hand and…with scars.
Experience then brings such wealth beyond Thought!
So teach me, LORD JESUS, to run
in YOUR footsteps for training…
for then by YOUR lessons this child
shall be taught!
As HIServant, older, wiser, and yet…still in training for Heaven,

Devotional: James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything!”
Untorn and untested muscles remain weak. Period.
No amount of Hope or dreaming can replace then the physical effort needed.
Yet although this formula is crystal clear to the world, why then is so often confusing to the Believer?
Remember! There are no shortcuts to the mountain top with GOD.
James 1:12 “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the LORD has promised to those who love HIM!”
This is because the lens, which allows us to bask clearly in such moments…was forged under Pressure and Time.
To try and scale Faith’s mountain without those “glasses” could be dangerously inept and needlessly painful.
So on the path where HE calls us to climb higher, check your scars for the value of Past Experiences’ teaching.
If none exists, then find someone whose markings will guide you. Yes, JESUS!
Seek HIM daily, as such, through every valley till again…you reach and bask on Faith’s Mountain Top!
Amen and amen!
