Colossians 3:12 “Put on then, as GOD’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience…”
With GOD’s own Gaze!

Who overlooks their sins
yet analyzes others; unforgiving of
what CHRIST already has?
Who stares with weights and measures
at their sisters and their brothers…
and with every dawn begins such
work — again?
In truth, we all critique
far more so than should be seen…
both in actions and in thoughts
without a word.
Yet even in the silence
there are victims from such violence…
for our disapproving gaze has “said it all”.
For so GOD “should” have looked
and we then would have despaired…
which sadly would have been
reflected outwards!
With great care, then let us lead,
as human mirrors of HIS heart…
with Correction’s glance transformed
by Heaven’s love!
As HIServant eternally grateful that HE doesn’t look at us they way we would,

Devotional: Romans 5:8 “But GOD shows HIS love for us in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us.”

What a perfect and eternal view, thank GOD! When HE looks at us, CHRIST’s shed, cleansing blood is what HE eternally sees.
HE doesn’t remember our sins either and! HE has removed them as far as eternity West is from East!
So when we look upon the obvious as well as assumed sins of others, when do our eyes say?
I hear of people who have clinically proven death experiences of various time lengths saying…
“JESUS has the most beautiful eyes; they’re
so full of love!”
Psalm 33:18 “Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear HIM, on those who hope in HIS steadfast love.”
With a gaze that GOD displays for HIS own, then! Then today I choose to overlook faults that my flesh would typically point out.
Today my heart will lead with Grace because that’s what our loving Heavenly LORD did…and still does! Hallelujah!
Amen and amen!
