Solely Purchased!!

1 Peter 2:24 “WHO HIS OWN SELF bare our sins in HIS OWN body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.”

Solely Purchased!!

As a zero on the hero
scale; a goose egg
out of 10…
when the judging of our
efforts done before a
soul knew HIM….

So our personal production’s
sum can’t — to HIS Cross
— be nailed.
For the only worthy
SAVIOUR is the ONE
WHO never fails!

Hallelujah then,
Beloved of GOD…
t’was just CHRIST’s
sacrifice!
Because HE lives,
then only serve
HIM WHO paid Love’s
greatest price!

As HIServant unable to add to Calvary but committed to daily sharing THIS Good News,

Whitney

Devotional: Romans 4:4-8 “Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

5 But to him who does not work but believes on HIM WHO justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,

6 …just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom GOD imputes righteousness apart from works:

7 “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;

8 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute sin.”

What great news indeed! HE alone purchased us!

So we cannot add to HIS finished work nor claim any part of HIS sacrifice as being ours.

JESUS paid it all and every and anything we do SOLELY for HIM is then worthy because OF HIM.

None of us can lay claim to our Hero and SAVIOUR’s sacrificial gift!

So since HE planned good works for each of us before time…!

…let’s use our efforts to reach others with HIS “bought and paid for” eternal message of Salvation….

…instead of trying to earn what’s already and eternally ours! Life with HIM…forever!

Amen and amen!
