THE Swap Meet!
Would you exchange
these earthly rags
which you have soiled and sown…
for those robes most righteous —
woven by HIS heart with
sovereign threads?
What answer, save rejection,
then can someone entertain?
Can their clothes which
Sin unraveled cover still
their arms and legs?
No, ten thousand times
ten thousand;
only Crimson strands HE’d
sewn without any fabrication
which stops being
“weather worn”.
Laying down each
strand and needle
with Self’s fabric found
thread bare…
so once again, revealing
CHRIST we’re best protected
…from the storms!
As HIServant tearing off these ragged clothes to reveal what HE gave me to wear from birth,

Devotional: Isaiah 61:10 “I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will exult in my GOD; for HE has clothed me with garments of salvation,
HE has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks HIMSELF with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”
When HE chose us from before the foundation of the world, the exact and unique fit of HIS robes of righteousness,
…were readied for that moment when we’d surrender to HIM.
So these beautiful robes sit in waiting till that instant when one’s Faith meets HIS finished work resulting in Salvation.
What blessed and heavenly fabric it is that’s not made of any wool (our works) but solely of fine linen. (HIS Finished work)!!
So Eternity’s “swap meet” completely exchanges our tattered clothes of Self for the adornment of Glory!
May we all be found so dressed in HIS righteousness, prepared to meet HIM WHO made us AND…our robes!
Colossians 3:12 “Therefore, as GOD’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
