Running Expectantly!

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine, for your LIGHT has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you!”

Running Expectantly!

Crawl, walking, running…
the sequence of infants
leaves out two more “steps”,
if you will.

Taken for Granted
this list is — unquestioned
as if airplanes stay
…on the ground.

So don’t live in a box
but extend both your wings
— expectantly waiting
…to fly!

Refocus again
on that set moment when
Faith’s leap lets you soar
…as designed!

As HIServants, running faster with full belief, expecting that HE shall “Lift us up!”…

Devotional: Malachi 4:2 “But for you who fear MY NAME, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall!”

Many a CHRISTian unintentionally limits themselves to just running.

Paul indeed tells us to “run the race and finish our course.” But as “upwards” is our calling and “higher” is our goal…

…then “running” wouldn’t get us up the mountain, let alone above it.

So it’s Faith’s surrender of what we can do…which “leaps”, (the fourth step) our souls till we’re no longer constrained by the range of the flesh.

THEN! The 5th stage for us is the grandest of all! Soaring with JESUS! So let Faith arise!

Amen and amen!
