Digging North!
Who would look for answers
in a suitcase…
for Life’s deepest of
questions to solve?
Running, as such, more
than most and
“too much” so one
journeys enough…to
be aimless.
So those wandering
have no CHRIST
compass!
By the seat of their
pants, flying still;
Going from error to error
with haste…
expediting what should
have been painless.
But for those whose True
North points to Heaven…
those bowing and
absent of luggage;
The answers they’ll find
are clearly inscribed
in The WORD WHO —
through calvary —
saved us!

Devotional: Colossians 3:2 “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”
In the “search to find oneself”, people travel a lot. Some are logistical movements and others, simply imagined.
But the “only direction” we need to follow is due North, even True North, expectantly looking for HIM.
Proverbs 8:17 “I love those who love ME; And those who diligently seek ME will find ME.”
Meaning: Heavenward is where we must daily point ourselves while serving in HIS NAME here.
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
So by first digging into The Holy Ground of HIS WORD with each day’s dawning…
…we are intentionally choosing “spiritual North.”
Every answer we NEED is found written inside while child-like Faith fills in the blanks for the answers we WANT.
Nothing’s worse (goal wise) than to carry a heavy burden, pay the mandatory price…
…and then find out you’ve been struggling all that time…in the wrong direction.
So let’s pick up HIS WORD this morning and faithfully dig North… towards CHRIST!
