Contently Continue!
Foolishly jealous
of greener grass sides,
Not knowing their span
nor what each must suffer;
…still go several souls,
abandoning fields
in which GOD placed them
…to otherwise wander.
So stand, oh my soul
not riding the fence.
Walk on your own side
in those footprints HE made!
For THERE GOD’s favor
resides with HIS plans;
Without steps off course
to the right or the left.
Proverbs 4:27 “Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.”
So through daily study and most zealous prayer, contently continue to follow the LORD!

Devotional: Deuteronomy 13:4 “You shall follow the LORD your GOD and fear HIM; and you shall keep HIS commandments, listen to HIS voice, serve HIM, and cling to HIM.”
Many times we look at exploring around us, expanding our horizons and breaking new ground.
Such endeavors and efforts are blessed when we do so with HIS blessed guidance.
But without daily study or reverent communication with our Path Maker, then time is lost looking into other fields…assuming they’re “greener”.
To “stay the course” is HIS spiritual call to us, being content with where HE’s placed us for a time.
There we must settle in until HE moves us on… just as HIS cloud by day and HIS pillar of fire by night lead the Israelites.
Such confirmations are the outcome of always delighting ourselves in the LORD…and continuing in HIS ways.
