The Most of These!

Luke 1:53 “HE has filled the hungry with good things; and the rich HE has sent away empty.”

The Most of These!

When JESUS reigned
is questioned by
Believing-Less
hearts which are blind.

Vision-Less souls
bound by Contempt,
Still sightlessly
speak offenses.

Knowledge-Less then
with Disbelief,
still argue they…
“GOD rules nothing!”

Yet Arrogance can’t
overcome the Truth
of HIS WORD,
CHRIST the SON!

So be found “Most!”
instead of “Least”
when your Faith is
measured — by HIM!

As HIServant walking with Belief, Vision, Knowledge knowing HE lives AND reigns eternally,

Devotional: In Luke 1:53 above, Mary, the mother of JESUS is speaking to Elizabeth, her mother in law.

In fact, she also says this is in verse 48.

“For HE has regarded the low estate of HIS handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.”

Then in verse 53, the analogy is beautiful! “HE has filled the hungry with good things….”

That was the HOLY SPIRIT filling Elizabeth, in verse 41 AND a reference in type to herself being filled by the HOLY GHOST as well to carry the incarnate CHRIST!

So! HE lifted her from “the least of these” to the most blessed of all women!

Elevated by GOD, yet humbly remaining in Faith!

Matthew 25:40 “ The KING will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for ME.”

So “the least” by society’s standards, those so measured by the World’s “Less than Nothing” assessments,

are the poor and destitute who, in their blinded eyes, include the CHRISTian.

Charles Ellicott comments: “Both those who trusted in their earthly riches, and those who gloried in their fancied spiritual wealth, were sent empty away…

while the “hungry,” those who craved for a higher blessedness, were filled with the peace and righteousness which they sought.” End quote.

So “the Most” of these is a privileged, humble grouping who honestly crave, seek and desire the presence of GOD!

Let us also be found in such gatherings, growing in faith and in the knowledge of the LORD JESUS CHRIST…

WHO forever reigns! Hallelujah!

Amen and amen!
