Psalm 68:19 “Blessed be the LORD, WHO daily bears us up; GOD is our salvation. Selah”
Unclaimed Baggage!

The weight of a grudge
which one shelters,
which never is soothed nor removed by their choice…
…will daily increase causing. “dropping of things”
deemed important and
precious — alike.
Such burdens then limit
our movements!
Such excess drags down both
our hopes and each strength!
Release then the envy
and outrage still carried
and find THE relief which
HE promised!

Devotional: Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the LORD, and HE will sustain you; HE will never permit the righteous to be moved.”

How many needless weights do we carry each day? As the wonderful, old hymn sings,
“What a Friend we have in JESUS, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to GOD in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to GOD in prayer.”
“What a Friend we have in JESUS” is the title and CHRIST’s load- bearing arms carry HIS most welcome relief.
So when we grudgingly help or unwilling serve, burdened down by Unforgiveness or Comtempt…
…then our paths are indeed labored and our steps, heavy laden.
So, oh Self! Cast your burdens at HIS feet, every crown and interest too!
Freed from everything constraining then, arise! Unclaim such baggage; leap up from your past weights and soar…towards CHRIST!
Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to ME, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take MY yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light!”
Amen and amen!
