Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your FATHER in heaven!”
Turning Nays into Yeas!

Shall naysayers turn
upon their own
or scoffers mock
themselves as well…
With fist-clenched,
shaking curses
crowding pathways
into hell?
With their darkened
words dispersed by
force; such verbal
shadows casting
forth…
Can light ignite these
dampened spirits
whose speech brings
no support?
Though as torches
bound beneath the
waves where burns no
flame in frigid seas…
BUT GOD! HIS WORD
makes every darkness
disappear. Instantly!
Consequently none
can stop THE FIRE;
HIS blaze has
overcome the dark!
So re-lift your candlewick
expectant of our
SAVIOUR’s spark!
For both the parched
and water laden will
be beacons, once
awakened!
So presently, with haste beginning…
burn bright as CHRIST’s reflection!
As HIServants with our torches above the waves of this life… burning brightly till HE comes,

Devotional: Acts 9:3-5 “As Saul drew near to Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute ME?”
5 “Who are YOU, LORD?” Saul asked. “I am JESUS, whom you are persecuting…”
Saul was the ultimate naysayer and scoffed before GOD apprehended him…and set him ablaze for HIS NAME.
He was ice cold to the Gospel and persecuted CHRISTians everywhere.
Saul’s flames were demonically driven. As such, he harmed believers whose reflected light of CHRIST contradicted his own theology.
Even with the fiery torch of self, Saul’s spirit was cold as ice and dark as hell.
BUT GOD! HE can reach anyone, anywhere, any time!
Once HE touched the frozen wick of Saul’s candle, everything changed…including his name!
And we know GOD brought Paul through many difficult trials and painful events so that he would ONLY br a reflection of CHRIST …instead of the epitome of Rejection!
Consider Isaiah 62:5: “For as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your GOD rejoice over you!”
So, dear Reader, whether you resemble Saul in this moment or Paul — transformed…
…wholly surrender your hearts’ candlewick to CHRIST every day!
Know that with every heartfelt and surrendered reflection of HIM, the LORD rejoices over you.
Embrace then, oh Self, the healing flames of the LORD and share likewise!
Amen and amen!
