taking and giving it
can…to destroy or
encourage someone.
So choose you this
day those words
CHRIST would have
said…so that Life
will flow forth from
your Tongue!

Proverbs 17:27 “The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.”
Proverbs 12:18 “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”
Gun control is a divisive topic far more so than tongue control.
But spiritually and emotionally speaking, the tongue is FAR MORE deadly yet gains less attention.
Why is that?
Because a gun when used most often takes life. Sure there’s target practice, skeet shooting and the like.
But the PURPOSE of a gun, though both for offensive and defensive measures; the job it was created for was to repel, kill and destroy.
Sadly Today, people clamor for gun control while shooting wildly with an untamed tongue…whenever and at whomever they please.
What does GOD’s perfect WORD say to us?
Ephesians 4:29 “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
James 3:5 “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles!”
Proverbs 21:23 “Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.”
Let us all, ever spoken most of all to myself, be focused on CHRIST, and controlling our own tongues by sharing HIS WORDS selflessly…in HIS love.
