Offcasting Opinions
Surrendering all,
so forfeit the sum
of Opinion.
Embracing HIS WORD
so Truth is revealed
— to study.
What then we assume
creates Life’s shifting
sands…full of Doubts.
So know HIS words
greatest while casting
off yours…to be certain.

Devotional: John 17:17 “Sanctify them in the truth; YOU WORD is truth.”
John 14:6 JESUS said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME.”
Our preference choices in life are often based on diluted truths.
Where we shoe-horn in our personal translation of a Bible passage until it fits with what we want as “comfortable”.
Sadly these actions also create the shifting sands of Doubt where we infrequently wish to question whether we’re still on solid ground.
Therefore, to be certain, let us offcast our opinions in favor of GOD’s “solid rock” truths.
