Pressing through to Faith’s Heights!
When Faith’s bottom barrel is reached, it is not so random a pained intersection.
Meaning: When all seems lost, it’s not absent of purpose nor is it devoid of direction.
For HE is yet with us no matter the distance! Yea, GOD is still present though we lay face down!
So when in Depth’s shadows you next find yourself, do not add to the doubts voiced by Darkness.
Rather! Pray even stating HIS NAME with great zeal till the Faith’s “surface” you reach…is it’s Height!

Devotional: James 1:2-4 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various temptations (trials) ; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
Imagine feeling so heavy laden with concern that the “bottom of the barrel” is where you’re at spiritually and mentally.
Imagine the drowning sensation for a moment…that occurs in many a soul who feel their own Faith is at a basement level.
It’s not that hard to imagine, now is it? We know many who have asked for prayers and not yet seen results.
Maybe you too have a few of such petitions?
1 John 5:19 “We know that we are from GOD, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.”
But to overcome, to reach the heights of personal faith; extreme opposition often comes and must be confronted.
And as we read in James above and will soon read in Romans, enduring Patience is a close companion to great Faith.
Romans 5:2-4 “Romans 5:2 “For in HIM we have been brought close by Faith to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of GOD!
And not only in this way, but we boast also in afflictions, for we know that Affliction perfects Patience in us, 4 And Patience, Experience and Experience, Hope.”
And my friends, GREAT NEWS! Our Hope is both in CHRIST and NOT IN VAIN!
2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by Faith, not by Sight.”
Therefore do not weary in well doing! Do not fear when extreme opposition appears.
To rise from the bottom of Faiths’ barrel to its surface and beyond, trials must be CONTINUE to be engaged…head-on.
1 Corinthians 2:5 “So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of GOD.”
Come, LORD JESUS, in YOUR power and might!
Yea, draw us THROUGH these present trials by YOUR hands working so evidently in our lives.
Then shall we freely breathe above such flood waters of Fear!
